I have some of Joanna's rosebuds and wanted to use them for wedding invites. The problem is if I open them and use only 1 will the rest keep ok and how
long do they keep. Another question, what's the best type of glue to use to stick them down as they are so delicate? And once I have them down will they
last a long time?

I tried to post this and obviousy had a daft 5 mins and lost it .....

right try again

Nothing natural will ever last as long as just printed flowers but if you cover them and protect them on a card that helps ... I use acetate as it looks like
flowers behind glass ... but the transparent film would keep them air tight.

I currently use Copydex but I am seeing whether Collall photo glue would be as good

hope that helps

if you ever come across those little silica sacs, you get with bags, shoes etc etc, keep them and use them stored in
with any pressed flowers, as they will help draw in any moisture that is present. Failing that i am sure you can also get silica from chemists ( I think)

I do the same as Sheila with all my dried flowers on cards - put some acetate over them. The rest of the flowers will keep as long as they are stored where it
is dry. I'm still using flowers I dried from four years ago.

I've used some I opened twelve months ago. Mine still looked OK. I store them flat in their packaging, but make sure nothing is placed on top of them. When
mounting on a card, I usually place the rose behind a piece of acetate to protect the flower.

I'm sure some of the ladies who use dried flowers regularly will be able to help you better.
