I have tried this and it works:-
Print your text in a colour to compliment your design and print it onto a shiny or non porous card - be quick as soon as it comes out the printer sprinkle it with embossing powder and heat it up - you get embossed text - great for posh invitations etc. It does work but you have to be quick before the ink dries.

I know this was posted a while ago but have just tried it. I managed everything you said, and it showed gold in the colour box but when I printed it out, its still black. Whaat am I doing wrong. Instructions very clear by the way. Love Linda

Wow, thats a brilliant tip, I'm not really keen on peel offs but I've always used them or stamps but this is great - they have printed out really well but I think they'll look even better with a bit of clear stardust

So glad I spotted this thread - this is something I have often wondered about but assumed I would need some fancy graphics software plus specialist ink cartridges - will definitely be giving this a go.

Does anyone know how to get your printer to print in gold or silver or do you need to buy special ink cartridges if so where from?
