I cant see why they asked us to fill in the email form on monday if the didnt even have the cds in stock.I took it to be that they asked for our details because thet had the cds and were going to send them out.

Even the update request online was not straightforward. It had three options.
All I want is a workable cd that I paid for in good faith, and I will take C&C to task if I don't get it soon, especially since the new version seems so much easier.

Hopefully when they send out the new CD's I will be back up and running, I have to wait like everyone else for them to come back in stock next week. Apparently anyone who filled the form in will not get the new CD until after the new stock comes in. Fingers crossed they will arrive before the end of next week.

I had the same problem as you Snow, tried to activate the programme after having the hard-drive wiped. I telephoned them on Monday and the CD was waiting for me after work last night!!!

I phoned the number on the CD case as I have had to re-format my hard-drive and could not reload the cd back on as the activation code would not work a second time. The lady said that the replacement CD would not need a reactivation code so to wait for that. She said that no one had received it yet as they are waiting for them to come in and that would not be until sometime next week. I mentioned that some had already recieved it and she said that must be for other reasons, not from the form...

Mine arrived yesterday, it was waiting for me when I got home from work. It is a full installation as I didn't have it on the desktop before, just the laptop. Had a quick play and it seems fine, even has the bonus section!!!

I think they should all be reported to trading standards. How do people who have no pc and no email address get the upgrade. They should send a new perfect copy to everyone who has a duff one. I am a bit put out as I bought mine so my friend who is very new to computers could have an easy to use graphics program. It was to be a gift. Nope - still waiting and I had an email from them before they sent out the on-line form, which I then complete - just had another email - asking for my details. Knowing how bad our post is still - might get it in Feb!

Veronica, I used a coloured rectangle and adjusted the brightness control to it's full capacity, that seems to work as well.

Margaret, mine has a white circle in the rectangle section too. I had to use the square and stretch it!

After much gnashing of teeth and cursing, I eventually got this CD to work, but there is one problem with the colours section. When I want a white rectangle, I get a white circle instead. Has anyone else found this fault?
