Just received this message from another forum,

The manufacturer of EZ mount (Sunday International) has just posted this warning to their website:

Please Note: It is not recommended that you

store any of your EZMount Stamps on Acetate Sheets. Acetate is made with

chemicals that will react with EZMount and any other cling cushion type

product, making an almost permanent bond between it and the cling.

Viv,
If you have a laminator then you can usually get laminating sheets cheaply from most of the major supermarkets, or somewhere like lidls or aldi may have them
sometimes. Hope this helps.

Where do you buy the laminate sheets from?? I looked in Staples today but they seemed very expensive. Do you put the unmounted stamps on just like you would on
acetate? I've got mine on acetate at the mo and they seem to be fine but I don't want to risk damaging them over time. Can some explain exactly what I
need to do, please. Viv x

Jennie Boxall from The Artistic Stamper/Stamp Connection who make Kling-On told us at a workshop not to use CD cases as they will react with the Kling-On.
Maybe Kling-On is slightly different. I've moved all mine, both EZ mount and Kling-On. I've stamped my own index sheets and laminated them. Apparently
laminated surfaces are pvc rather than acetate based.

Strangely enough Alison I thought I had read about this some years ago on another forum but thought I must be dreaming it up as so many people were storing
their stamps on acetate. I believe that laminated sheets are fine but not acetate
PS Just had a look on the EZ Mount site to see what they suggest for storing EZ Mount or other cushioned cling and they sell the Stamp N Store sheets that are
similar to the folders Joanna sells in her shop but these come in sheet form...
