Ganz is the name my grandchildren call me. As this name was taken and my imagination failed me I just added 'of eight'. Aren't I lucky having eight grandchildren!

I nearly lost them to Canada this year as my son was offered a job
there. Thankfully they have changed their minds and have decided
to stay.
I would have had to change my name to Nanny-over-over-there lol.

My Grandchildren live opposite me, and their other granparents used to
live here in the same village, both grandma's are called Nanny. When my
grandson was small to save confusion he would call his other Nanny
"Nanny up the hill", and me "Nanny over there" hence my forum name.

Mine is my tomcat's name. He passed away two years ago so it keeps his name alive. He was called Shoestring because he had a trainer lace tied round his neck when we rescued him. It put me in mind of 'Bootlace' which is what my Dad called the fictional detective Eddie Shoestring played by Trevor Eve way back when I was only a youngster. Thus we named him Shoestring. Are you asleep yet?

my name is Rosanne, so Rosie and bubbles cos one of my pals knicknamed me Rosiebubbles as we went through a phase of drinking long tall cold orange juice and fizzy wine hence the bubbles!

Mine was sheer frustration, everything I tried said, that is already being used. Thought of lots of things to with crafting, then had the same reply when I put in embossed. By this time I was getting angry so tried adding 123 and it accepted that. Not what I wanted at all, but at least it worked and I can come on here and enjoy using the forum.

I'm like you isallario. I tried lots of combinations of Sue, and finally settled for Millie Sue - a combination of my dog's name (she was just a teeny weeny pup when I joined) and my own name. I am totally unimaginative when it comes to forum names and I love all the fun names on here xx.
