Arnica is great for bumps and bruises but whatever you do - don't put it on broken skin. Hope you are feeling better soon

I did that once i slid all the way down the stairs and had carpet burns all over my bum and back, the pain was terrible so you have my sympathies paul lol

Hope you feel better soon Paul, seems like the time of year for bumps, I spent Friday in A&E with 15yr old Granddaughter, she had a collision in school playing rounders, landed on her elbow and bruised her face as well.
No permanent damage just some stiffness and nice bruises, and a bruised ego
Get plenty of rest but try to keep some mobility or you may seize up, and keep taking the pain...

Ouch! But at least you didn't break anything! I broke my foot falling UP the stairs and ended up in plaster for six weeks! Maybe the others are right, a quick trip to A+E or the docs for a check up,

I agree with Sharon, a trip to A&E sounds a good plan certainly your hand and elbow should be looked at, as for the rest of you a quick check over wouldn't go amiss.

Had a lovely weekend at Ally Pally and it was great to see so many "sheenies"

Got home around 7 last night, went up to check my emails and the forum, came back down the stairs, slipped halfway down and crash landed on my bum at the bottom!!!! I now have a nice big bruise on my bottom and back, carpet burns on both elbows and arms and also on my left wrist. Left elbow and hand is slightly swollen and finding it hard to sit at my desk in the office - things I do to try...
