Hi from me as well. I have embossed stamps like this, but if you want the effect to look like parchment then use a white ink pad. This gives the look of parchment craft, but also has the added bonus that if you wanted to try and emboss them like Christine does you can. The white ink is just replacing you tracing the outline in white pencil or ink, before embossing. I used white ink on Joanna's Fan stamps and then embossed with a fine tool and also pricked the design, it was effective...

Hello Ruthy, and welcome to the forum from me too. I have these stsmps, and use the Versamark pad and white mebossing powder, although I have tried them with several others, looking for different effects.

Hi Ruthy, and welcome to the forum, I too use the versamark clear inkpad, and also the white embossing powder, even though I don't have any of those stamps, YET , but it does give a 'it must've taken you ages look'...

Hi Ruth and welcome from me too. I love using the parchment stamps, and have stamped using Versamark and then sprinkled on white embossing powder. I'm pleased with the results - it looks like I've spent hours embossing (hee hee!). Let us know how you get on. Good luck.

Hi Ruthy, welcome to the forum.
Those stamps look great when you use a versamark inkpad and a pale embossing powder. Marian's right, the gilded ivory is gorgeous but so is the icicle tex or the vanilla ice. I've also used halo gold which looked stunning too. Have a look in Joanna's shop as there are loads of yummy embossing powders

I've recently brought the christine coleman stamps and have now gone to use them and want to know is it a versamark inkpad you use or a white inkpad as i've used a versamark
then put clear sparkle embossing powder on top and you can't see the lovely stamps very clearly.
