My punch goes to my builder who has failed to turn up to work on my loft conversion AGAIN!!!! THe six week job has now turned into six months - am going on holiday in 13days (not that I'm counting) and was hoping to have the room decorated whilst we're away - however would need to have walls up there for that never mind windoes and a floor. Why can't we get someone who will just do what he say's he will do when he say's he will do it - talking of people who I hope have...

well I am needing to punch something this evening - went to go out in the car to nip to Sains and car wouldn't start - fortunately it was the one time OH decided to come and was driving it! (but it will be my fault!) I said it was battery, when was last time we had one? - erm when car was new 6 years ago - oh no says OH it won't be the battery - well credit due, it was a bit weird - when you first put in key in - full tank of petrol, when you turned key - needle dropped and no petrol!...

Thanks Tina. Yes, I should do more neck excercises, I know, and it doesn't help sitting at a computer all day at work either. I have to have botox injections in the back of my neck every few weeks, too, for another problem, but these don't seem to help with the tension unfortunately. I'm alwlays tempted to ask the doctor if he can spare a bit of the botox for the wrinkles in my face while I'm there!!

Maybe you could try some physio to help relieve the tension? I had a car accident some years ago and was in a blooming collar for 6 months and having physio. The muscles do tighten up causing headaches even now and I find the exercises help loosen them. It may help you too as tension will make the muscles tighten up.

No its not sinusitis, Tina; although I know someone who suffers from that and it sounds awful. I get tension headaches and they always start in the back of my neck, and always last about five days or so. I have been having them since I reached a certain age!!?? I get them every three or four weeks or so. Damn things!!!!! And I get bad-tempered and moody with them too, can you tell!!???

Today I feel like punching my own head!!! I've had this niggly headache since Sunday now and it is getting on my nerves!!!!!!!!! Had to get up in the night to take some more pills and then some more this morning, and they made me feel really sleepy, so all in all I feel really s**t today!! So there!!!!! Hehehe

I think my punch just has to go to the plumber who earlier this morning drilled through the mains pipe while replacing floorboards in the bathroom!(There was I thinking we were going to have a shower fixed to the wall not coming up like a fountain .
Then on top of that while replacing the pipe he set off the fire alarms with the blowtorch! I wonder you didnt all hear it at Sheenie Towers!!

Probably foxes Sarah, I was just telling Joanna how they scream round here too. Once, one stole a dogs toy from my friends garden, it was a squeaky strawberry and for night after night, that fox walked up and down the road squeaking that toy!

My punch today goes to the thing or things that woke me up at 1.15am this morning by screaming and screeching at full blast right outside. First i thought someone was being attacked in the woods then I thought it was maybe a dream but then it came againa nd again anad agaian for about 20 minutes I have been told it was either a fox mating or an owl screeching. Well they can go and do it elsewhere.

Can I borrow that bucket of water please!

i'll save mine till 'after' my lesson, as i usually have to put up with inconsiderate council van men, white van men n various other idiots who 'have to get there b4 the learner' which only makes us less confident n nervous, that is until it makes me into 'EXwife' the superwoman who wont be bullied, toyed with or be made to play chicken!!

I am fuming as i made an order from a company for a stamp, well known company i might add and stamp not in Joanna's shop, have now been waiting for 3wks and have phoned them up over and over again. I think i will have to threaten them with the sheenies. Or tell them i will bandy their name about on the forum, perhaps that will shift them. They have had the money and still have this item for sale in shop yet dont have it in stock. This morning...
