I have a money sorter as i hate change in my purse i just cant stand a lot of coins . my card money i have a big money i put it in .

Hubby and I decided to save the £2.00 coins when they first came out and to date we have saved approx £1300.00 now what can I buy with that LOL. It is going to be used for a builder to come and build a wall around my front garden and the wrought iron gates for the drive, it will seem as though we haven't had to pay for it. RESULT and hopefully anything left over I can spend myself.

I have a little green jug that i keep my money for cards in ( that i have earned!!) nad counted it just now and have £63 in it! Good job as my Visa ( for crafts) is £103!!

My grown up sons who still live at home never spend their pennies, 2ps or 5ps but leave them lying around. I put them in a piggy bank for copper and a Jack Daniels bottle for 5ps and it is amazing how much it adds up to. At the moment the Jack Daniels bottle is about three quarters full.

I had one of those Linda - trouble was it wasn't the prettiest pot I've ever seen - in fact it was downright ugly so I had no problem with smashing it! Lol.

my son got me a pottery money jar as a gift.....you write a wish and put it inside along with you first coin,
when its full your supposed to smash it and hopefully get your wish.
the trouble is that the jar is too nice to break dont think i can do it.....

A friend of mine saves her £2 coins .............. or used to! She kept getting so many in the shops in her change and ended up with no money to spend!

I too keep any money I get from cards separate and use it when I go to Ally Pally. Might start doing some for the elderly ladies where my Mum goes for her coffee mornings, etc. Someone took some in the other day and no-one bought any......... Mum said "they were like something a child would make - yours would sell much...

I have a huge whisky bottle and saved all my 20ps and £2 coins, I bought my first pc with it, printer and scanner. there was over £600.

Not anymore unfortunately , lots of coppers in there now. I never spend 20ps, have saved them since they first came out. It's amazing how much you can save up without knowing! xx

I put all my $2 coins in a bottle, i counted it the other day just to see how i was going and i nearly fell over, i had $478 !!!! hang in there Craft Robo 2 i nearly have enough for you ha ha ha,

We've bought a tin from BHS just after christmas, I put any money from cards I sell and we put anything we win on the Irish Lottery. The only trouble is we can't open it to find out how much is there til we want the money as it is just llike a food can but with a slit in the top for the money to go in.

I'm hoping that there will be enough for a robo or something similar for my christmas box this year.
