suddenly stopped and did nothing for years then when I was widowed I took up cross stitch which I still do and when I married my second husband he got sky and
that was it I saw QVC and Dawn Bibby and said I can do that and I did,I eventually found c&amp;c (dont buy tho&#39;) saw Joanna and I was hooked on her cds,I

			<description><![CDATA[ I have done many crafts from a young age as my Mum and Gran were great crafters of the sewing and fine work - so I have picked up from them - I loved Cross
stitch which lead me to find cards to put some small work in and it took off from there - then about 4-5 years ago my Mum had a Christmas card with a simple
Christmas tree embossed on the front - a very small one but it looked classy so we set about buying a few bits

			<description><![CDATA[ I have always been creative.. I used to make and decorate novelty cakes..Then I went mad with dried flower arranging... then I took a pressed flower class back
in &#39;98 and absolutely loved it and got completely hooked on pressing flowers and using them on cards and then my artwork. Cardmaking has grown since then,
I love using all kinds of mixed media both in my art and my cards now.

			<description><![CDATA[ like most of you i have been crafting in one way or another. knitting, sewing - not clothes but making christmas decorations for the tree, crochet, tapestry
but knitting will always be my first love but now i do not knit anymore, the wool is either too cheap or too expensive and all the wool shops have disappear.

			<description><![CDATA[ I began about 18 years ago by painting strawbaskets, and spent a fortune on paint, but I loved it. But in the end my relatives got tired of getting a basket
for every Xmas and birthday so I began making my own earrings, since I only found rubbish in the shops. I made them out of fimoclay...then I stopped buying
Xmas cards coz I thought them rubbish too and havent bought a card since 1999. I made Birthday and Christmas cards. I have also painted in Oils for two years

			<description><![CDATA[ like many others I&#39;ve dabbled over the years with different bits n bobs - got into cross stitch with my children when they were little - my granny taught
me to crochet when I was 16, got into dress making when I got married/had family.  Got into card making when I bought my first computer and bought Printmaster
card making CD and its spiraled from there - have graduated to Greeting Cards Factory and Joanna &amp; Sharon&#39;s CDs now!

into cross stich but then my eyes got bad so gave up cross stitch and went into card making. i do like sewing but these days only on the machine ]]></description>

admired her ring she said she had got it at QVC and as we had just got Sky (as he likes Sport ) I explored and found QVC and Dawn Bibby and Create and craft .
saw Joanna and bgt 3 of her CD&#39;s and her papercraft DVD  Eventually had a cupboard built to put all the things I have collected .If I had never met the
lady I&#39;d be pounds... ]]></description>

Christmas after I&#39;d retired and I was on an economy drive.  Picked up a £1 pack of d-i-y cards and it was the worst economic decision I&#39;ve ever made

			<description><![CDATA[ Like most of you I have always crafted in one way or another, knitting, crochet, dressmaking etc, made my wedding dress and three bridesmaids dresses, when the
children were small I made most of their clothes and started decorating cakes firstly for their birthdays then went on to do Wedding/anniversary cakes. 
Started cross stitching about 15 years ago and loved it even made special cards with it, then discovered papercrafts and the rest is history, you get sauch
quick results instead of... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I started crafting because I was fed up of the rubbish selections you get in the shops.

Now I love making the card according to what the person likes.
<br>
It was either the fact that the picture on the front was nice with a rubbish verse, or that the verse was great but the image rubbish.
<br>
Got fed up of paying huge amounts for a piece of cardboard too.
