I have just started having problems with Adobe. I have Adobe 8.1 on my Pc and didn't think I had Adobe Acrobat 4 until I tried opening some CDs and they
try and open in 4. When I go into add/remove Adobe Acrobat 4 is there but doesn't have any info i.e. date last used etc. or size of programme. It also
looks as though I also have 7. Do you think 4 was attached to something I downloaded from the web. The main question is can I remove this safely. I tried
but it said...

Which adobe reader did you re-install???

If its to be used with a text field in an Artilicious cdrom you do need adobe reader vesion 8. If you have installed an earlier version then uninstall that by
going to the windows control panel and add/remove programs and then go to www.adobe.com and download version 8

Hope that helps

You should only ever have one adobe reader on your computer

I would go to the windows control panel and then remove all referances to adobe reader, adobe acrobat reader and acobat reader.

Once removed restart the computer and then go to www.adobe.com and down load a fresh copy.
