Hope you hear something soon. There may be a problem with the telephone networks over there, so try not to worry. Easier said than done I know!
They are probably having such a wonderful time they haven't thought about anything else.

Coralie, please also note that mobile phone connection is sometimes poor in those areas of the world. (I know as I travel a lot there myself) so that could be the reason for no response. Also, if I can recommend, you should always text them in order to get a quicker reply, as voicemail messages can take days to get to you when travelling. Finally, no news is good news my mum always told me, - so hope that will help you too. Love Winnie xx

Yes, I keep telling myself they are just lying on a beach somewhere, oblivious to anything else in the world. But I can't help worrying, especially as we sent a text two days ago.

I'm not having a good few days, what with daughter's dog panicking me when he did a runner. Now I haven't heard from daughter and husband. They were travelling around Thailand, don't know if that included Burma. They should be in the Maldives now for the last few days, but she hasn't answered our text. She was due to leave for the Maldives at the week-end, just hope she didn't get caught up in the cyclone!
