Helen, you've had such an emotional turmoil these last few months with your relations and the bad news about your mum. I wish there was something we could do to lift the burden from you a bit. Its bound to take its toll on you healthwise, but as Ali said, don't beat yourself up about it. I don't know what else to say, but if ever you want to talk........................

So sorry to hear your Mum is in Weston Park - it is a really good hospital though - I had my chemo there and the staff were great. We are so lucky in Sheffield having a specialist hospital on the doorstep - so many people have to travel long distances to come for their chemo. The regime is quite harsh - but if it helps that's the main thing.

Hope you get your meds sorted out next week.

Back at the end of March I told you all about the long list of problems that our family were coping with & the fact that my Mum had just been diagnosed with Osophageal cancer. Unbelievably since then we have suffered 2 more deaths in the family, one only on Sunday, so it seems our run of bad luck continues.

My Mum is in Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield, which is a specialist cancer hospital, having her first lot of chemo. She's coping very well & managing to keep her...
