Cooking is great when I am home all day and have plenty of time to shop/prepare/cook - but as I work full time and don't get in the door until gone six every evening then that is when is becomes a chore.

I am at my happiest when I am cooking for a big family/friend do - have sat down sixteen people (at the greatly extended dining table!) a few times, even put up the marquee in the garden and cooked for 43 when I had all our visiting archery french friends for dinner.

I don't like cooking 'sensible' things, but will make cakes and biscuits all day given the chance

I loved cooking till I met the OH, he was so fussy, that I got fed up trying to cook something he would like... now I hate cooking, but it's mainly due to the fact that half my hob aint working and the oven door is falling off...

Good excuse for getting a carryout eh!!!!

I love cooking but find the standing difficult a lot of the time, we often cook as a family, both my boys cook especially the older one, he likes nothing better than making a meal for his friends at uni.

I love cooking and entertaining, the more the merrier, i reckon i have enough cook books to open my own shop and i will sit and read them like other people would read a Mills and Boons book !!!!!!!!!!! my dad all ways said when i was a kid, give our Pauline a bag of flour and some butter and she is happy ha ha ha ha.

I used to like having people over for a meal as long as I had plenty time to prepare but haven't done that for ages. I don't like everyday humdrum cooking.

Well believe it or not many moons ago i trained to be a cook
used to love cooking but my ex husband put me off with all his nasty comments about my cooking
But thankfully Colin loves to cook and i cook now and again

I have never been a very good cook. My husband was retired early through ill health and because I was still working full time he slowly took over the cooking which was great coming home to a meal on the table. When I finally retired he asked me if I wanted my kitchen back and I said no thanks!

I am sure that one of you cooks can give me some inspiration. I had a box of bean sprouts in my veg box this week, they have to be used by tomorrow so it is too late to use a few at a time. Boiling, roasting, steaming or binning - any suggestions? I have just spent about an hour of good crafting time washing and sorting them but maybe binning them is the only solution.

I'm OK if I'm not rushed, have got some music on and a glass of wine in my hand. If not, OH does it although in the winter I try to have a hot meal ready for him. I like making biscuits and desserts and cakes and also hot spicy food like chilli although I do a great cheesy herby pasta with plenty of chillis and spices which is my signature dish. Its guaranteed to warm your cockles!

Have always loved cooking and baking but find it less and less inspiring. I always say when you get married did we really agree to decide "whats for tea" 365 days a year.I usually feel better after a break but no its not working. Ali x

I love cooking or maybe that should be I loved cooking but after 30 odd years of doing it I am getting abit frayed round the edges but i still like to experiment with new recipes

i love cooking and having friends round for meals .the last time i counted my cook books i had 42 and i have a magazine every month .my sisters are just the same and we are always swapping recipes
