Bad news, sheenies, the decease is spreading from paper to embellishments!!!I bought some gorgeous "crafty secrets" stickers and cut-outs,and don't want to put them on cards! I just want to look at them!!! I think it is now time for the men in white coats to carry me off to a little cell ,( with plain walls of course, that I can embellish!!! )

The woman in an upmarket gift shop in Burham market Norfolk thought i was potty when she spotted me stroking her up posh fatastic quality giftwrap i told her there were thousands like me as i made my purchase( weell you do dont you lol) but when i next went in she had extended her stock mmmmm do you think she hoped hundreds of us would flock in

Hubby walked out of B&Q the other week leaving me standing there dreamily stroking a gorgous roll of velvet like wallpaper,he reckoned people were looking at me and wondering if i needed the men in the little white coat's.Of course i had to leave with a large sample just to see how it would look on my cards......oophs i mean wall.

Another forum member reckons I will be found dead from starvation in a slum somewhere clutching a piece of Anna Griffin paper. I will have spent all my money on craft stuff and have nothing left to buy food or pay bills with, hence the tragic death. Does this tell you how bad my craft/paper addiction is?

I keep mine in all my lovely Boxes and when i feel a crafting fix coming on I get them out sort through them and put them all neatly away and when i want to make a card i just get out my Cd's and print my kids think i am barmy collecting paper and now flowers and ribbon oh and luxury card and er stamps and er boxes to keep em in and so on and so on Oh! dear i do hope i have not got the addiction virus that is spreading through JS forum maybe one day someone will make the antidote a credit...

My son thinks I am quite mad when I take out a piece of card or paper then put it back and say I cant use that it`s too nice...my OH is used to it and just smiles and nods.........Ann d xxx

I didn't know you were supposed to actually USE it!! I use printed off from cd papers and stuff from junk mail and bits from kits but special papers - kept for at least 2 years before cutting even a tiny bit. I still have a sheet of irridescent glitter card I bought over 10 years ago - when there was hardly anything arounnd for crafters!! Janet

My OH thinks I'm mad when I find just the right piece of paper or card and then say "oh, I can't use that - it's too nice!" Only one or two very special people get the seriously strokeable paper!

The remedy that works for me is to buy 2 of each paper you like, then when you use 1 you still have the other in your stash. If it's the last 1 I can't bear to use it. I think we are all the same.

Snap!! I just take it out to look at it and gently stroke it, then pack it all away again!!! Have been Known to use it in scrapbooking - after all my scrapbooks don't leave me.
