Yes Fiona, although STILL those darned otters are remaining elusive to us. Saw 44 different kinds of bird there last week including a woodcock which i have never seen before. Lots of lambs about, skipping in the sunshine.
By the way can you try and find out just where they are wanting to build the 6 affordable and 8 UNaffordable(!) houses there in Pennyghael?? I have the Round and About Mull magazine where they are having a right old moan about it and quite rightly too in my opinion!!...

Hi Fiona, the weather here today hit 23c and I'm trying my best to keep cool. Luckily we are right by the sea so have the luxury of the breeze coming off it, but it's still rather unfamiliar weather after the long winter and taking a bit of getting used to. Our forecast for the week is looking good, so if it isn't too grand on the Isle of Mull, just hop on up here Wishing you a lovely...

I've been thinking of you Sue! Yup, it's Pennyghael for us too, although it won't be quite the same now Fiona has sold the Post Office. No interruption to breakfast because customers have arrived early, or the carrier from Oban has turned up a day late with a delivery.....

And the morning rush hour outside the diningroom consists of the first tourist coach of the day for Iona, two otters in the loch opposite, and a ewe with twin lambs at foot. Plus the heron that comes...

Hope it stays as nice as it is today here in the sunny Northern Inverness.

I think it is hotter than Portugal, my neighbour just gone off there today and
says rain is due there.

We are off to the Isle of Mull tomorrow for our annual week of English folk dancing. Yes, I know that sounds daft but it's organised by an English lady who used to lead a folk dance band and retired to Mull several years ago. She runs this week to make sure she sees her old friends!

Usually the weather is either sunny with a freezing wind, or very wet; I've been reading Susan's posts from Benbecula with bated breath this week, hoping that the glorious weather will hold...
