I'm thinking of investing in a Cricut, can anyone explain the difference between the old one and the Expression? (apart from the price!) In your
opinions which one would I be better to go for? It would mainly be used for cards and maybe some things for my class at school.

Thanks

the expressions also has a multicut button that allows you to cut thicker card/chipboard. Any of the shapes can be cut from 1/4inch right up to 12" ,
much better for cutting letters for cards & posters. You can also get a 12 * 24 mat which would let you make decent sized banners for the classroom.
I've just used a seperate programme to make an exploding box with the expressions and it really does need the extra space.

For me the handiest thing is not having to cut...

depends if you want it for scrapbooking i would go for the large one if you dont want to cut out that big go for the smaller one and spend the extra on
cartridges i have the small one and it cuts up to 5 and a half inches with the mall one you have to cut your pages down but find the cheapest way to do this is
to use 12x12 and cut in half then you get 2 sheets out of one mind you i thought at the time of buying it that it was something i could not live with out i
went mad brought 7 cartridges...
