I thought you might like to see these photos I took on Monday during a day out at a falconry centre. These are the birds which featured in the flying display.
My favourite is the gorgeous bateleur eagle, loved the markings on that bird, which you can see in the picture of her back. We had to smile at the cute baby
rabbit who was also watching the display, not sure if it was very brave or very stupid though

Suzy don't throw away your tickets to the event as they will also go in to a scrap book, as will feathers and tassles. I did a page for a scrap book when I
took my son Adam to a birds of prey demonstration. My scrapbooks don't have a theme they are just memories of anything I choose to put in. I just go back
to it whenever I have time(which is not very often). You'll love the finished result, especially if you have good pictures to start with. Must admit though

Fab pictures Denise! You could do a very simple little book by sticking c6 or larger cards together back to back to form a concertina. Put a length of ribbon
on the front and back cover and cover with backing paper and other goodies/title/images. Then decorate the inside with your photos, run some captions off on
the PC. You could even make a pocket or two to hold a leaflet about the centre or write a few memories from the day and pop them in. It's a cheap way to do
a mini scrapbook and...

My boyfriend gave me a falconry experience for my birthday a couple of years ago. I got to hold and fly a barn owl (who I stroked), a snowy owl (called
Schnoogel who was just gorgeous, but dagerous!!) and a Harris Hawk called Dodger who flew from tree to tree following us and then sterted walking along behind
us like a dog!!!

They are fabulous birds and its an experience I'll never forget!!!

Your photos are fab. Hope you'll be scrapbooking them!!!!

Very ignorant, it'll either live or learn!
Falconry is fascinating isn't it? We used to have people that flew their birds on the farm, but they spent more time hunting for the hawks, than actually
flying them! Too much woodland around here, they really needed arable country.
