Oh Not again She? She's taking the Michael now and pushing you as far as she can.
I would have the phone back immediately, no problem! I would get her one of those £5-£10 Pay as You Go ones from Tesco and put her £10 on for Emergencies, telling her it has to last a month! She can always top it up herself with her own money!

She I don't know how you keep your hands from springing around her dear little throat, but I think she is now way overdue for a sharp lesson. They say you have to be cruel to be kind and enough is enough lock or throw her out if only for a short while let her know enough is enough.

At 18 she is no longer your responsibility, you have tried the softly softly approach and it hasn't worked now I think it is as the others have suggested - tough love. You do have my admiration for having supported her thus far but she does need to learn that treating people this way is unacceptable. I'd confiscate the phone as a first step until she has reimbursed the bill then I'd change the locks! Know you're too nice to do it.

She, you're a wonderful kind lady but it's time to put yourself first. This selfish inconsiderate brat needs to grow up. There are thousands of youngsters out there who'd give their eye teeth for what she has and the chances she's been given. If it were me I'd show her the door and leave her to fend for herself. She you are amazing the way you've coped with all the problems, but she is 18 now & an adult, she needs to know that her actions have consquences, time to be shown the door, nobody should put up with the rubbish she's thrown at you. Hope you can put an end to this.

I don't know how you put up with it, I certainly wouldn't. At some point though, things will need to change - either for your sanity or for her own good. She is now an adult so she must accept responsibility for her behaviour, in the long run she is going to have to learn a very hard lesson. Some tough love may be called for. I wish you luck.

Whilst SheWray has my utmost respect for tolerating such a spoilt brat, the spoilt brat in question will never change unless made to with tough love. Can't you tell I'm a tough love person he he. Its just that I have zero tolerance to rudeness unfortunately.

I have my friend here on holiday, I was having a party tonight and had bought in loads of sausage rolls chicken dippers and loads of other things - they have gone walk about from the freezer, as have packs of chicken breast fillets, mince and several dozen tins of food. and then of course half the cutlery has walked as well.

On top of that, she pleaded with Paul to get a contract phone as she was 18 now and if she was out with friends at least she could get in touch if she was going...
