Whats that Stephanie, Life before washing machines and hoovers, OOooo Sounds like a horror movie to me. I can't do with out my washing mashine or hoover. Makes you think though how we would get on if everything was taken away and we all had to go back to basics

Have any of you been following the "Mediaeval" season on BBC Four? There are several programmes on tonight if anyone is interested. Fascinating ... life before the automatic washing machine, electric/gas cooker, hoover and even printed books.

History has changed since I went to school, all I can remember is half fallin asleep then jumpin out my skin when the bell rang My 9yr old son came home not so long ago thinkin it was cool how the egyptians used to scrape the brains...

I'm soooo glad we don't have a thatched roof the OH has to get rid off all spiders before I get into bed, won't even go in room untill they are gone

LOL Pretty educational! It was sent to me in an email, had to scale it down loads to fit it on here

Have got quite a few cool mails that were sent but I think they will be too long for on here, like food that has been sculpted into people and animals etc.
