Don't fret about registered mail as it isn't all it is cracked up to be...had 2 very bad examples of that at work recently. According to RM tracking a package I asked to be sent special delivery had been received but I was actually on the phone to the recipient at 2.30 PM when the postman arrived with it, even though it is guaranteed to arrive by 1 PM!!!!! I received a card through the door on saturday telling me there was excess postage to pay. When i phoned up and found out who it was from i was very surprised to say the least as i buy from this person frequently. The mystery deepened when i went to collect it, it had been sent recorded.

When i contacted the sender, she has proof of postage (thank goodness), so had not had an elder moment lol. I hope you got proof of posting - I know things are bound to get lost with the volume of mail that is handled daily, but why is it always things that we are waiting for - never junk mail, or is it. Perhaps we should have 10 times the amount of junk that we receive but the RM have lost it to.
