Morning.

Unfortunately, I had a packet of Ibuprofen in there, which I take for my back, and Bonnie decided to chew them all and swallow most.

We only found this out yesterday afternoon when we washed her bed. This explained why she was down in the dumps and sick all over the place.

Poor Bonnie, it's amazing what they will eat. My Pippa swallowed some stones when she was a puppy, I still can't think of any good reason for it.
Luckily, she brought them up, in the middle of the night, of course. I wouldn't have known anything about it otherwise, till she would have needed the vet.
Boy can dogs make a lot of noise being sick in the middle of the night!

I'm sure Bonnie will be fine, given time. The vet wouldn't have let you take her home if he...

Well, I think it is going to be a waiting game. Really isn't herself at all.
No fun in her or wanting food either at the moment.
I suppose we will have to be patient and hope she gets better soon.
Thanks for the wishes.

C.J. has a taste for trainer socks (hubby calls them "half a sock") and I've had to throw them all out and revert to normal socks because no
matter how careful you are taking them to and from the washer you can guarentee one will escape and sit there saying "eat me".

We've not managed to have children of our own and this is our first dog so I've never known worry quite like I've experienced over the last 15
months!

I hope Bonnie bounces...

Poor little Bonnie. i know how you feel though. When Snoop was just a few months old, he got hold of some leather cleaner (looked like a prit stick) When I
found him, half of it was gone. We rushed him to the vets, where he was sick all over me in the car. The vet said his eyes were dilating and quickly gave him
an injection to make him bring more up. Poor little lamb was so sick and there was nothing else they could do except wait. He came through but has always had a
weak stomach since.
