        <![CDATA[ Finally after umming and aaring, and getting thoroughly confused, I went to my local craft shop yesterday to buy the Big Shot that had been put aside for me.
Any way, don&#39;t ask!!......I came out excitedly carrying a Cuttlebug ( the compactness really appealed ).

Haven&#39;t had chance to play with it yet, had to go to work...what a bore!! Will play this eve. So any hints or tips on it&#39;s use would be most welcome

			<description><![CDATA[ I bought spares of the plates sos I would have a set for cutting and a set for embossing and also have a spare to hand should

anything break.

The embossing folders,especially the floral one ,are really lovely on shiny metal card - if you want to experiment rather than sacrifice mirri card-
<br>
use the foil bottoms from ready meal containers.
<br>
Also embossing brass stencils is deeper if you very lightly spritz your card with a very weak solution of detergent and water.

the plates, and it takes all sorts of dies, but be carefull not to try and put too much in your sandwich,as it will crack, as I did, now I have to wait 2 weeks
for a new one, but never mind you will have lots of fun with it I am sure.  June Mcnally
