i cannot believe that my daughter is 40 today.its no wonder i feel so old.

I think it's very inconsiderate for daughters to get into double figures that don't have a 1 in front of them Ellen - I told both of mine this but did
they listen? NO!
 I console myself with the thought that one
day they will wish they had..........

oh but think how much more comfortable you are today than you were 40 years ago - that's how I console myself when my babies insist on becoming young

my daughter turned 26 today, and my granddaughter 2 weeks. Haven't seen my daughter in nearly six years and have only two pics of my granddaughter (taken
on my son's phone). Hope to be able to see them both soon. Still building bridges caused when i left my ex and then my mother made things worse by having
to put her twopenneth in and really ruined things for me. (My daughter was talking to me until then
 )

Im only 44 and i feel 18 years old. I too wonder what has happened to all those years. Ive had a wonderful journey in life, and im still on board for more
To me age is a number and not how old you feel. Im my mind im a fit and healthy get up and go 18 year old that is up for anything at all. I guess having teen daughters keeps me young in mind. They run me ragged but i love it. Hope your daughter has a wonderful 40th birthday. I still remember mind like it was yesterday. They do say life begins at 40, and i happen to think that is correct. Hi Ellen congratulations to your daughter on her 40th. Mine is the big 60 this year and although my body feels like 160 my mind feels like 16!! ....erm with
the odd senior moment or two!!
