I put this on general discussion but as i had no replies think this is where i should have put it ha ha, craft robo 2 or Silhouette Quikkutz, which is the
better machine and please can anyone with either of these machines tell me how they find them and if they are pleased they bought them or wished they had saved
there money, i live in Australia so not sure if this will make any difference

Personally, I have a craft robo and believe it is better,
The same machine is licensed to both companies (and to Xyron for the Wishblade as well) so they all share the same basic features and software to make it work. Quickutz use the Silhouette like the Cricut, as a way of cutting die cuts to any size. You simply buy templates from them and cut them out. It is like having a library for die cuts. I don't like the style of many die cuts so it did not appeal to me. The Robo has a support website where you can download templates for free and it also comes with Design Master software which you can use to make your own images. It has a function called scan and trace where you can make a template for yourself that is only difficult if you want to do difficult things. I used it with Gwyneth Windsor's silhouettes CD and had cut out a complicated garden scene within minutes. The Robo also has 2 years guarantee. I already love my Robo after less than a fortnight! Basically the same machine but you'll need to see who give you the best back up support over there. Over here the uk robo importers are reputed to be
excellent. You'll also need to find out if blades and mats are readily available.
