I have been browsing through the Fashion Boutique cards and saw one using twisted decoupage. I have never seen this method and think it's great any
tips on how to do it would be greatly appreciated. All the cards are beautiful.

from an earlier post....
Google twisted pyramid decoupage, it brings up links to various sites, but I created my own sheets with the 3D cardbuilder CD http://s75.photobucket.com/albums/i281/san3/Different%20style%20cards/?action=view¤t=1stgoatatwistpyramid.jpg There's also another card I've made using this way in the Fashion Boutique Gallery......Page 5 near the bottom somewhere (if you'd like a look) Instead of cutting the layers square, you trim a wedge shape off each side, then use that one as a template for the next layer and cut another wedge from all sides and keep doing this for however many layers you are using. I used the 3D2 cardbuilder (decoupage part of it) that way I could keep a check on the layers etc. Hope this helps you and anyone else wondering how it's done.......I prefer this way now to normal pyramids San x |

Thanks Beryl.....It's addictive once you get going, I've used 10 layers on mine and used thinish card instead of foam pads on the FB one. Depends on
the depth you want.
I'm here if you need help San x |

How do you get the image from the FB cd into the 3d decoupage program? Being stupid I expect, but I couldn't see how the other day. Thanks for twisted
decoupage help anyway.

Pam have sent you a pm, That picture seizing happens to me alot which is why I prefer the bucketsite.
To get the image from Fashion Boutique (FB) I probably did a snapshot thing around one of the pictures, saved it to my computer, then into the cardbuilder from there. hth:) San x |
