I know many of you make lovely Bookatrix cards but, although I have had the board for some time now, I haven't even attempted making a card from it

I make my own boxes as well. Did buy a score board with box lines on reverse side and now find it invaluable as make boxes and shaped cards with it and use the
lines to embellish cards - can get the framey effect without the framey board. The more you use a score board, the more you find uses for it, so worth an
investment and it is a shame to make a nice card and not have a nice matching box

Well suzy only one thing for it, you need to add a scoring board to your list

They are easy to make, although maybe a bit fiddly at first.
I have a homemade scoring board and use the very first 10mm groove all round the card. x |

I make my own too, however they are not strong enough to send through the post. Some one did put details of a website where you could buy stronger ones that
would go through the post fairly recently but sorry can't remember details.

I use a box maker to make my boxes but I do have a template for bookatrix box, which was made by a forum member Penfold (it's from his "Help a
Friend" CD). If you would like the template please send me your email address and I can forward the template to you if you like, Penfold kindly allows
use to share the templates. Gail

I used my M&F board and there are instructions with it, but also the instructions are on Coppernob's website (they sell the board).

Don't buy them Suzy. They're dead easy to make. I use the groovy box maker, use 2 A4 sheets, no measuring score 1 on the box lid section and 1 on the
box base section. Now mine is the very first one produced by Glenda waterworth and I find it invaluable. I can make my boxes in minutes. I use a wet glue to
glue the corners and use mini bulldog clips to hold them in place while they dry- only minutes.
