Ongoing saga of my life lol. Could i ask any of you lovely Sheenies that are on Efexor (slow release) otherwise known as venlufaxine (sp) would you come off
it, if you feel its not helping.
As many of you know i've been really down of late (now on up for a while) and have been looking to change things. Saw psychatrist at being of month who at one point said he would increase dose (i'm on 150gm at mo) and in the end decided not too. Have told him for the last 3 or 4 appointments that i didn't feel that they were working, but don't seem to have got through to him.
Was taking to OH earlier about coming off them, i think that if i was in a drunken stupor all the time i would feel just as good (albeit couldn't drive or maybe do much else lol) and that the tablets are stopping me from having a good cry when i need one to clear the system so to speak. If i'm lucky i may get as far as a few tears, other than that it's just another frustration.
I will be taking medical advice regarding stopping them, but i would like to hear from somebodies who have been there and done it as opposed to the clinical view.
Hope this makes sense when being read, if not hope you can all understand what i'm waffling on about.
I realise not everybody likes talking in the open about these things so please pm me.
Many thanks for listening.
love and hugs
