My back tooth has just broken in half whilst eating a sweet.
I knew I
should have started my diet this weekend.
It's not hurting Yet but can't stop poking my tongue in the tooth

You have my sympathy Lynn - know what it was like on Thursday when I lost my crown - tongue kept finding the gap - and I was speaking with a lisp and
whistling!
However, don't panic - it's amazing what the dentists can do now. I lost a filling in back tooth a few months back and thought this is the end - there is only side of tooth left - but no - rebuilt and as good as new. Mags |

Looks like dentist for you. I've just work done a couple of days ago, better to get it seen to soon, sods law that it will start to hurt on a weekend!!

I'm on edge as it's not hurting at the moment but I'm just waiting for it. Hmmmmm ! what's the bet It starts up in the middle of
the night 
Have been tryin to avoid the gap but it's broken leaving a sharp edge so keeps catching my tongue which make talking difficult (OH is pleased ) Said It's the quietist I've been in ages 
Oh well I've got pain killers at hand

Lynn, I've been in that situation many, many times as I don't have good teeth at all - virtually all of them are either fileld or capped. It is so
annoying when they break and it stays sharp as it can hurt soooo much when your tongue catches it. Fingers crossed all stays OK until Monday as not always do
you get pain but you are always waiting for it to happen. Good luck.

I've made it through the night with out pain
 Amazingly the filling has stayed in I think this is why it's not hurting
yet. Oh well am going to have to pluck up courage to go to dentist in the morning.

I have an appointment at the dentist in the morning.
Have managed to
stay pain free all weekend but now have tiny little ulcers under my
tongue caused by the sharp tooth that's left causing more pain than the tooth

I'm back from dentist Yaaaaaaay........ they saved the tooth
Dentist said it was a nasty break and thought he would have to crown it but
he got away with re-building it for now. So now I can eat...... think I need to make up for weekend
