I've had some lovely times over the last few days which have been very welcome. OH had Friday and Monday off work so we've had a long weekend together as a family

Friday and Saturday, Summer and I spent a great few hours nattering, watching and talking at the NEC. Joanna was lovely as always and we had a lovely chat with her on both days. We also had wonderful chats with Jayne, TT, Wendy Rhodes, Paul and Stephanie, and lots of Sheenies and other crafters alike. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and generous with their time especially as it was so hectic at times. Jayne made a lovely acrylic piece for Summer which she is thrilled with and TT very kindly gave her a crafting gift which she will play with at the earliest opportunity
Stephanie remembered Summer from previous shows and gave us some wonderful tips.

I had had huge doubts about coping with the driving and walking, but I managed well and suffered very little effects which I am soooo pleased about, it has boosted my confidence so much I can't tell you. I am so happy

On Saturday evening OH and I were out with friends at a Japanese restaurant where they cook the food in front of you and it was a fantastic experience, a spectacle, and the food was out of this world and so plentiful
On Sunday we lazed a bit, had last minute viewers for the house (they're not offering, but at least we've had a viewer now ), and then had some friends over for an evening meal leading onto a very enjoyable but late night punctuated by various high calorie snacks

Today, we sat and watched the latest Harry Potter film together, which we think is the best one so far and thoroughly enjoyed.
All in all some wonderful times which have been a welcome relief
