I am wanting to try making cards using foiling next year and would be grateful for any tips on "how to" as i have no clues!!
No good asking me to buy machines or anything as i am useless with anything computerised!!

Just buy a foiling wand .... no machine there. But you will still need either a photocopier or laser printer as you need the toner for it to cling to.

thats right ,
you need a black and white laser printer or photocopier to print off your greeting , then a foiling wand (tonertex) and of course the foil you lay the foil shiney side up over the printermatter , then iron over it using the wand you could also use a laminator ( lowtac tape the foil over the text and feed it through the laminator )i have also had good results with a travel iron katrina x |

Thanks Tina......I think thats out then as i won`t be able to do that.........
I thought you could do it with a glue pen and foiling stuff.........or have i got the wrong thing altogether!! Denisexx |

Oh you can do it with a tonertex pen, zig three way pen and I believe the sakura glue pen too. But the wand, laminator, iron method makes it more professional
looking as it is flat to the card then and you can do pictures too.

Thanks everyone....i will look into it all before i buy one, i have some money that i made from xmas cards!!
