hi! i am new to this so please bear with me if i make mistakes. i am trying to find the best way to build up a picture using rubber stamps and masking. i have
tried but i end up in a mess.

Use a versafine or stayzon ink and stamp the top image first, then stamp on to some thin paper for the mask. Cut out as close to the outline as possible. Use some lowtack double sided sticky tape or repositionable glue on the back of the mask and cover over your original stamped image. Keep repeating until you've built up the picture remembering that the bottom images are the ones stamped last. I get messy when stamping and have to wash my hands repeatedly or I get dirty smudges everywhere. |
