I hope you have a great system for storing them. I haven't got that many yet (only about 50) but I do love stamps. Have you ever bought the same one twice
or can you remember them all.

Including my ums, I have at least a thousand stamps!! Mind you, my friend and I often buy sets between us so she houses about 5- 600 at her place. It's mad
really - so many haven't even been used. I gave away some in my free swap and also another 50 or so to a group of old people who were just starting out.
My new years resolution was not to buy any more stams - but I haven't kept it!! Joanna will keep putting on lovely stamp sets and Glenda's peacock ones were irresistable as well. It has taken about 15 years to collect as many as I have and I've definitely slowed down!! I bought a couple of collections i the early days, where people had given up and my friend who died left me quite a lot too. When I was calculating my contents for house insurance, I was horrified when I tried to add up my stamps (and all the pads, powders etc) peel-off and other types of sticker sheets and card and paer along with all the equiment etc. Horrifying!! For anyone with lots of craft stuff - make sure you are not under insured! Janet |

I have 1 drawer full, all that were on wooden blocks are now on EZ mount so the take up less space, don't think I'll ever get to 5-600+, I'd need a
2nd home to fit it all in

I store mine in the coloured Cd boxes from Poundstrecher. At the moment they are buy 2 get 1 free. HTH Jacqui x
am not even going to attempt to count mine. Most of then have only been used once, and some never! Wouldn't attempt to count my peel offs either except I have 18 A5 ring binders full to bursting, plus 5 of the Docraft storage folders, AND the peel off boxes, why I've bought this lot, I have no idea, must be addicted!!

I stopped at 546 and that was only three binders of my unmounted stamps - not the five large boxes hiding in my craft room

I haven't counted my peel-offs, but I recently updated my stamp catelogue and I am almost ashamed to admit that I have in excess of 4,000 stamps. I only
hope I live long enough to get good use from them all - about 150 years should do it!!

Lynn - over 4000 stamps, wow! I estimate I have about 50 christmas stamps and about 200 general stamps. A lot of stamps I bought in the beginning of my card
making days were 'bad buys' ie bought the stamp and then found I either didn't like it or it was not very useful. I don't make as many mistakes
now. I love stamping, it is my favourite part of card making but I am not very confident when it comes to sending my hand stamped cards out. I generally cop
out and send a card that could have been 'handmade by hallmark'.

I'm getting more and more into stamping, my collection isn't very large as yet but it's growing. I think I'll pop across to have a look at
Joanna's new stamps.

Don't dismiss any of your stamps Millie Sue. It's amazing how many of mine I've regretted buying only to find them so useful some time later. Also,
I've found that you can never have enough - I'm dying for the Tildas to come back into stock!
I wonder if I could use some of my very old stamps to barter for groceries as buying so many stamp has definitely eaten up most of my cash!!! Lynn x |

Dare not count mine!
However, I still use the first ever stamp I bought which was PSX Hybrid Rose, quickly followed by PSX Honeysuckle, Fuchsia, Pansy and....and....and....and......! Judy C |

i have about 50 stamps, and i think that is a lot. there are stamps here that i have not used yet yet yet. but mac 4,000stamps, where do you put them all. i
have put my stamps into 2 large lock and lid boxes, one for christmas and one for general and they take up enough space.
