Me and OH have been married nearly 28 years and finally I have been allowed to borrow some family albums from his side of the family.I now thanks to the wonder
that is the computer can scan them so my kids will have copies. Ive finally seen what OH looked like when he was a child and he has pictures of his dad when he
was serving in WW2. I particularly like this photo of my late MIL and FIL taken on blackpool promenade and if you hit the bullseye on the target your
photograph was taken. I can feel a session of scrapbooking coming on. unfortunately that will mean I will need to purchase crafting stuff that suits the
photos, oh well never mind when needs must

Ginger wrote: you're right Sheila doesn't he - definitely film star material! Christine: I love old photos too - found one recently didn't know we had that was done as a postcard, of OH's greatgrandparents and all the children - definitely a WOW at the time we found it. Mind you have copy of one I had sent to me of my GGGgrandmother taken in the 1870s or maybe earlier - heck what a battleaxe - don't know whether I want to own up to being related to her!

I adore old photo's and you are all right, there is something of the film star in the poses etc. The one lovely thing of mum and dad coming to live was
going through all their old photos. We found lovely photos of my grandparents that I never had the good fortune to get to know as they had passed on by the
time I was born. I now have a 'rogues' gallery from the landing, stairs and hallway, mostly being sepia photos of past and present family.

I guess your right ginger he does look a bit like a film star, he was still a good loking chap by the time I met him and a nice guy too, I love the idea of a
rogues galllery of family photos, what I really like is when you find an old photo that really looks like one of your living relatives kinda spooky but amazing
