Have just walked up the lane to collect the car, and apart from huge clumps of primroses which have been out for ages, celandine and wood anemones, bluebells
were out in the hedgerows! Now that is a bit early for here, our woodland ones usually bloom early May. There is also a clump on the bank outside my kitchen
window, and they are nearly ready to bloom. Sadly we have lost the sunshine now but have some dark black clouds in the west, but this just sets off the
flowering cherry which looks almost luminous in this light.

Because of the weather being so good, we managed to get the grass cut both front and back. The flower beds tidied up AND the patio area 'jetted'. Shows
what that extra hour at night and a bit of decent weather can do.
