2. Use the fronts of plastic air freshener's as unusual stencils. The supermarket brand ones have some fantastic patterns. One i have has wisteria and
another has hearts and dots on it.
3. Use an empty washed out gel pen as a stylus for embossing the tomato puree tubes. They also work on foil and parchment too.
4. Use a 3mm or a 6mm shredder to shred coloured copy paper for your quilling strips.
5. Use your iron ( no steam) to fuse laminater pouches, if you haven't got a laminater. Just cover with a sheet of paper and iron over the pouch.
6. Cut the A5 laminater pouches in 2 or 3 lengthways to make brilliant bookmark. Just sandwich your art work between them and iron.
7. Stamp an all over image with versamark and leave to dry, then chalk over it in 2 or 3 toning colours to make unique backing papers.
8. Spray chalked backing sheets with hairspray to seal them.
9. Use Stazon cleaner to blend with alcohol inks.
10. Use the blended alcohol inked sheet to scan as your unique backing papers.
11. Use the silver.gold metalic pens( the kind you have to shake up before using) to blend in with the alcohol inks.
12. Use pearly powders to sprinkle onto blended alcohol inks before they dry on the backing paper. They make lovely sparkly effects.
13. When you have created your unique backing sheets, scan them onto vellum for a different look.
14. Try stamping onto watercolour paper and spraying with a diluted mix of alcohol ink pearly powder and water. This gives a brilliant effect to the stamped image and background.
15. Pick and dry petals and sprinkle them between waxed paper. Cover the sheets with some kitchen paper and iron to fuse them together. These make beautiful gift bags and tags.
16. Copy any templates you draw onto stiff plastic sheets, or use plastic folders to copy onto and cut out. This will make your templates sturdier and they will last longer.
17. Open out an envelope you like the look of for your personal use and copy and cut from stiff plastic for durability.
18. Stamp a greeting onto vellum and cut the boarder with Victorian deco scissors. Glue or eyelet it onto your insert of your card for a different look. This looks lovely in birth congratulations cards?
19. Make your own pearlescent papers/card, use pearly powder and water mix and spray lightly. This makes beautiful effects.
