Please can you all give me your opinions on these die cutters. I am really stuck as to which one to go for?
I like the things you can create with ease on the Cricut, but I like the fact you can emboss on the Cuttlebug. I don't know if the Cricut is worth the
money.
Please can someone help me decide.

Hi Andrea,
If you take a look at the die cutting section on the forum there are many views on which one to have and why. I am going to have a cricut but only as OH is off to USA and I can get one at Walmart for less than £100. I'm so glad someone else cannot sleep

Cricut, but I also want a Cuttlebug. I"m greedy. Cricut is plug into electric and Cuttlecug by hand. If you could get the Cricut cheap, the saving
could then buy the Cuttlebug and you would only have spent the full price, there about of the Cricut's normal price. Does this make sense to you. My
brain can work at a different tangent to everyone else. Love, Hilary

I love my Cuttlebug but haven't tried the Cricut the price puts me off. I use my bug a lot and it does do what I want so I'm more than happy with it.
Mind you if I had the money I would probably get both!

l love my cricut especially as you can get disney cartridges and there fab l love them by theway l also have a craft robo so im a bit spoiled for choice

I too love my Cricut. I did have to decide between that and the Craft Robo but I have heard of soooo many people not getting on with the Robo. I am now saving
up for the Robo as I REALLY want one ;rant

I did post this on tuesday on the general discussion board, but, I thought I'd post it here too.
I ordered the brand new Cricut Expression on Monday night from hallmark scrapbook in Utah. I just decided to go for it as I got quite a bit of money for my birthday and thought I'd never really have enough to buy it again. Hubby has paid for the shipping and probably the VAT and handling when it gets here. They sent my order out on Tuesday, upto now, it has left the US according to the tracking info you get on your parcel. You can check the info each morning and it gives you the previous days activity. I got it for £150 as a pose to £350 in england. Even when you add shipping which was £60 etc it still works out cheaper than buying in england. If anyone is wanting to go for one from the US, I say go for it. You will need a converter though so it works in our english sockets. Seen them for between £20-£30 depends on the wattage of the machine. Anyway just waiting for it to arrive, so will update this as soon as. Just for those maybe wanting one. Hope this has helped. I know I found the info from everyone else that had bought from the US really helpful. Andrea xx |

Another update for those people interested.
I have tracked my parcel into England, it arrived today so it's taken 3 days to get to the uk from usa. Pretty good going I think!! It's with Parcel Force at the moment. If you want to track your item with them, use the US tracking number on parcel force site and it will then give you the english tracking number. So far, it's awaiting the dreaded customs charges. Parcel force will pay your charges, but will then send you a letter which I'm yet to receive, so that you can pay the charges online and then arrange a delivery time. At least it made it to england, that's a start. Andrea xx |

For those interested,
My parcel has been released with it's charges which were £35.93, I think that includes all the customs charges and the Parcelforce charges. I's now en route to my delivery depot in Liverpool, so I am just waiting to pay my charges when it arrives at the depot and I can have it delivered. I will hopefully get my hands on it in the next couple of days, all going well. Then I'll have to wait to use it because we might need a converter which we'll have to send for. I thought this information would be useful to people thinking of buying a Cricut from America. It gives you everything you will need to know so that you can be certain it's what you want to do. Hi Girls,.I have the little cricut which I ordered from the US. You dont need to buy another lead. I asked my electrian to have a look and he said it just
needed a 3 pin plug. So save yourself £20-£30....It is compatable to UK.
