Morning all, looks like a nice sunny day here in hull.
i've just booked my driving test for 5th june, n your the only ppl i'm telling! (apart from my OH n john my instructor) gives me at least 8 more lessons, potentially more as i'm off for 2 weeks next week, so i think i'll be ok, shall treat it as another learning session. any advice would be welcome though sheenies. chell x |

Good morning from a promising Leicestershire. It looks as if it's going to be another glorious day here although, like me, it doesn't seem to have
quite made its mind up yet how it's going to feel
Chell, I still remember my driving test of many years ago (and I did pass first time much to my own surprise) and the wise words of my driving instructor. 1) Just imagine everyone else on the road is an idiot. 2) If you make a mistake put it right sensibly. 3) Do you know how to work the windscreen wipers? (I didn't and it was raining so he left them switched on for when I started the car and we prayed it didn't stop raining during the test!!!) Have a good productive day everyone. Ali xx |

Morning from a damp and dull Mid Devon. Got a busy day today wedding flowers to do later, just put the bins out and pottering on the agenda.
Not feeling too spry today, BiL is getting married tomorrow and I am dreading it. He is getting married in the same place as John and I were married which will be so hard. It will be my first big social gathering since John died and he was so looking forward to the day. There is nothing quite like someone elses happiness to hilight your own misery is there? |

Good morning from Benbecula. Another sunny start out here on the western edge, with a gentle haze making the palest blue sky, a golden/pink horizon is making
the northern hills appear like mere smudges. The garden is a myriad of daisies, buttercups and dandelions, with plenty of butterflies and bumblebees floating
and buzzing around.
Crafting will have to be done this morning as yesterday's attempts were impossible in the heat. Didn't dare cut out any decoupage as the paper would have crinkled in my hot mits. Have a good and creative day everyone, and hugs all round. Susan

Morning all from a sunny Suffolk
Sad as my beloved printer won`t print black and needs replacing so apart from the expense which I could do without - I had to travel 40 odd miles to get a new one  - still needs must - just sad as I have only ever had 2 printers
one lasted 12 years the 2nd less than a year
Still enough moaning it`s only a printer - had a wonderful time at a friends house last night - the food was amazing and I kept to my diet food and i`m so proud & just enjoyed the lovely company Have a great day all - and hugs to anyone extra needing them Suzanne

Good morning from a damp and drizzly South Wales
I hope it's not
the 10th today or I have missed Mum's birthday on the 9th 
Thought Dad had conjunctivitis, took him to the GP yesterday who said he should go to A&E. Turns out the pressure behind his right eye was dangerously high. Was given an injection to bring the pressure down and now has 3 lots of different drops and ointment for his eye. Have to take him back to A&E Saturday morning to have him checked out again. He was so confused bless him. I was very upset last night. He has become so frail, bless him. I made quite a few cards yesterday. One for Dad to give Mum, a choice of 2 for my sister, one for my son to give and made 4 boxes. Made the day go lovely and quick
I MUST clear the dining table today as all the family will be here to celebrate Mum's special day. I bought her Joanna's Secret Garden as she loves flowers. I am hoping my new mineral make up will arrive today. Hope everyone has a great day today. Hugs for all those in need and congrats to those celebrating. Take care Hugs Jan
