I would like to punch all insurance companies. Spent 3 hours on the phone yesterday trying to find one that would cover Paul, tried about 6 all press b----y
buttons before you speak to a living person, then answer about 50 health questions then be told sorry can't cover you, or one who said we will cover you
for 3 weeks holiday for £1675.50 you can imagine where Paul told me to tell them to go.
Finally managed two get 2 sensible companies who qouted a reasonable price, so I suppose it was worth it in the end, and I will have to accept the more grey hairs and rise in my blood prssure as par for the course. Advise to follow don't get olde and stay healthy otherwise everyone wnats to screw you (and not in the way some of you will be thinking lol). Have a good day everyone I hope I do. |

I'm glad you got there in the end Eunice, I can just imagine how infuriating it all was. Well, my gripe is with biting insects - grrrrrrr |

Eunice try Tesco insurance ... they are recommended by our support group as they are the only ones (other than the post office) who would insure Vasculitis
patients.
Nancy try some Magicool, it helps with cooling and swelling. I have had an itchy rash on my ankles since coming back from France, it comes up when I get even slightly warm, Magicool brings it down to a manageable "don't scratch" level. |

I'm getting to the point where I don't want to go into work, despite only doing 2 1/2 days a week as a job share with a lovely girl called Joy. We are
both fed up with being spoken to like a 2 year old (I was 58 in February
Sorry to rant, feel better now I've got it off my chest!!! Thanks for listening!!! Jenny x |

my rant sounds bit puny compered to others but am totally fed up.... in effort to help my [pregnant] daughter by offering to wash her supply of baby clothes
ready for arrival of first grandchild...washed them all in fairy non-bio .... put them on the washing line and 5 minutes later the line snapped and they were
all on the floor in the dirt!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm an ME sufferer and the effort first time around was hard work, but now I've had to do it all again i'm fit for nothing............sorry but feel better now!! Hope all those others with a problem feel bit better after off loading, but Jenny I'd go to HR with this one I think, if two of you are having same problem they'll have to listen. Fiona |
