Thinking of buying a cricut but blurb says smallest letter size is one inch. If you have the design studio programme, can you shrink the letters down?

Forget design studio and get SCAL instead then you can shrink/enlarge the letters as small/big as you want although anything much smaller than 1/2 inch is too
fine for the paper to hold together on anything other than chunky fonts. You'll also be able to cut anything you can think of designing and only need the
cart that comes with the machine.
Provocraft do not support SCAL and there have allegedly been reports of it damaging machines, cant see it myself as it uses the same coding as the design studio. I certainly havent had any probs with it. |

On George and Basic Shapes that comes with the machine you have a sign with a letter enclosed which if you use 1 inch the letter will be very small, as the
sign will cut 1inch. The letter will be approx. a quarter of an inch. There is also a tab in which the enclosed letter is smaller. It is a fabulous machine.

You can shrink the letters with design studio but it is a bit fiddly, or I'm just not very good at it lol.
