I have been cardmaking for a couple of years, followed on from cross stich. I am married with 2 children I love cardmaking especially playing around with pigment ink pads direct to paper and making lovely backgrounds. I have been reading the posts on the site for a while so feel I know a little bit about you. I am 61 years old and am addicted to card making and scrapbooking ---now I have retired --or rather had it forced on me when hubby of 42 years traded me in for his 41 year old druggie ( lady !!!!!!). I worked 24 hours a day in our motels and B&B . I thought about if for some time and decided because I have a very bad back, to get out of it and leave them to it. Now after 9 months I am the happiest I've ever been and he's so guilty he bends over backwards to give me anything I want---including a CRICUT EXPRESSION. I took it very gracefully tooand pretended I wasn't all that keen on it but golly I just love it. Now I have all the time in the world to travel and see my grandchildren and as well done a couple of cruises as well as of course being right in my element making cards and scrap-booking. And just to top things off I have found me a wonderful man!!!!! Boy is life so so good and the icing on the cake---no one will work with his lady and no one likes her--in fact complaints constantly from the guests showed hubby she is not so wonderful after all. Yahoo--life ius so good
