Posts: 5113 (04/09/2007 10:42:22) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None My sister has phoned me this morning, to discuss about her and her partner getting married next year, I already knew this was coming as she already asked would I do the staionary 150 guests yep no problem, she said they were looking at August no problem, she wanted to talk to me about a venue, How would I feel about them getting married in my garden she loves my garden and wants to speak with the registra if it is possible well I dont know what to say 150 guests tramping through my garden, all the decorations making my garden look like a fair ground, weeks and weeks of preperations to get it right as well as decorating the wedding venue , she wants flowers from the garden for her bouquet, the stationary to do, table decorations, could I help with the food preperations as she said I have a flair for that favour boxes for all the guests those little treasure boxes she said and then to top it all we could spen a few evenings together sewing the beads on to her dress that she is making she wants my daughter to do the cake thats fine what do you think I said

It is the venue that has to be licensed for marriages NOT the person performing the ceremony! I can't see you being able to get a licence for a "one off" unless you open up your garden for anyone! This would mean that your home would have to be made available for anyone wanting to marry there!!!!!!! Come on, get on with it, all those things won't do themselves will they....... Posts: 5113 (04/09/2007 12:57:23) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Right I have drawn up a list now got it sorted in my head, Autum dig all the boarders over manure them divide the palnts re-plant, finish the landscaping, give all the climbers a good feed tie them all up and train them to cover the pergola, finish off the fencing down the bottom and get the fruit trees fan trained on the trellis, it was all planed for autum anyway to that should be fine, after christmas get the staionary done out of the way start doing a few trasure boxes a week after christmas once colours have been decided food is not really a problem as its only a buffet she wants get my two daughters to help with decorations and table decorations silk swags balloonsflowers, fresh flowers on the tables so it should all click into place after all there is 11 months to go nothing to it my sister loves me, after all she is my sister and she would do the same for me if the tables were turned
