i love horses, but i don't think i like to see them "perform", reminds me of circus animals, sounds like i'm having a go, i'm not though,

Sherry, that was a great piece of film but I'm afraid I agree with Jan that animals weren't put on earth to entertain us. Its O.K. if they do it whilst
performing natural behaviours but otherwise I'm afraid that the spectators are the only ones having any fun. If you carry on to the end of the clip and
look at the menu at the bottom of the You Tube page you will see that you can choose to look at a clip of horses for slaughter and the way they are treated and
transported. If any of you would like to have a look and support their work it would be greatly appreciated. There are no gory bits but it is disturbing.
Alternatively, go to www.ilph.org or telephone 0870 3666928 for more information. We are trying to outlaw other countries from using dancing bears as
entertainment and yet condoning dancing horses, seems bizarre to me!

I don't know how this horse was trained, but he looked
well taken care of. So I think he must have been trained with kindness and a reward system. I do think animals are happy to please their owners (with trick's'  if trained with love. Some of them
like to show off also. And I think entrainment is fine in these cases. I hope this is the case of this horse. I do support your cause with missed handling and hurting of all animals. Sherry |

Sherry, thanks for the clip. Eric and I enjoyed it. The horse and rider were both fantastic - you could see how much the rider loved the horse. You could also
see how much the horse enjoyed the dance! It wouldn't do it unless it enjoyed it - you've all heard the expression 'you can lead a horse to
water...'

I have no truck with anyone who mistreats animals, and I honestly don't think that -that horse would have "performed" had
he not been treated with love and kindness. I don't know much about horses, but if they wagged their tales like dogs, I would have said he enjoyed every
