Im so sorry. My heart goes out to all concerned. As most have said send your friend a card, just to let her know you are thinking of her.
My cousin took his own life 7 years ago this year, and my Aunt has never got over it. Hugs to everyone. Do xx |

Oh my!! what terribly sad news. My heart goes out to his family and friends Does your friend live near? Do you think she (and you) could cope with a visit? Just a hug and a few tears to share. I find it easier sooner rather than later IYKWIM Thinking of you and your friend x |

Such a sad thing. Please contact your friend - don't wait -she needs the support. My ex-husband attempted this but I found him in time. Needed support for
a long time after and people didn't say anything because they were afraid of what to say. A hug and a sorry does wonders.

There's no need for you to say anything. Just go see her and give her a hug and let her do the talking, for I'm sure she'll want to. Sylvia x

Tina, don't leave it to long as it gets more awkward. My friend has just been told she has terminal cancer and she shut herself off from everyone for the
first week and then it was very difficult to talk. Now it's as if we're intruding and nothing is the same any more.
Hope this helps and your friend realises what a help you could be. Jan xx |

Tina, don't put off phoning her if you can because other people will be thinking exactly the same as you, and now is when she needs her friends. If you
don't know what to say, tell her you don't. The fact that you've had the courage to phone will mean the world and I should imagine she'll do
the talking. If she just cries, let her do that too and hang on until she's finished. Good luck with what will be a difficult call.
