Can anyone help please? Jane C sent me a link to a craft creations project for my school thingy, only I can't open anything up that is Adobe. I have version 8, and all I get is "programme not responding". This isn't the only thing I've tried, and it just won't work for me. Any help woud be greatly appreciated , thanks,Jacqui xx

Have you tried uninstalling your current installation of Adobe Reader and downloading a new copy? It's possible the copy you have has been corrupted.

I had similar problems with mine Jacqui, so deleted it and did search to get new version - no problems since (touch wood lol)

Jacqui, remember last week when I couldn't access any of Glenda's cds with Adobe 8, I uninstalled and re-installed and its okay now.

I'm having great troubles trying to install Adobe 8 I'd love to have Glenda's cd but there is nopoint if I can't get it installed, it makes my
computer hand up each time I try

I downloaded Adobe 8.1 and had no problems with the CD. It did say however that you needed to have downloaded microsofts service pack 2 as well to work
properly.

Most computers with XP on already have service pack 2 Kate. I agree Jacqui with what someone else has said it sounds as though your copy of Adobe Reader is
corrupted. If I remember rightly there is a free copy on Joanna's and Glenda's CDs. But it is readily available free on the internet so uninstall the
version you have on your computer and reinstall.

I haven't got the cds...............yet. This is a problem with dowloading from the net. I've only just had the new one
installed, I think my pc just doesn't lie Adobe. Will try that anyway, thank you xx Jacqui
