I needed some ink cartridges for our new printer and after shopping around found Argos to be about the average cost but since they had a buy one get one half price offer - it's saved quite a bit.
While checking prices online I found it quite surprising how expensive originals can be at some of the online shops, I think it helps make their compatible or remanufactured ones look even cheaper. One site wanted £12 more compared to what most place are charging for original inks and TBH they wanted nearly as much for their remanufactured ones as the others are charging for originals.
It's an HP as I've given up on Epsom, although my last printer was under £30 and lasted 3 years with refillable inks, having to reset chip even when the ink was half full because Epsom decided I'd done enough and needed to replace the ink was annoying. I'm sticking to originals for now because of the warranty but as the printer only cost £29.99 it will be worth trying other inks in the future.
