Posts: 3175 (16/11/2007 12:17:43) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None All you clever ladies out there I need some help, as most of you now know I use images in PNG format and like to mix and match my graphics what I can't fathom is once I've made up a picture how to make all the parts become one if you know what I mean. What I'm trying to say is if I want to duplicate it so as to get more than one on a page I have to copy and paste each eliment and reposition it all again but I want to be able to do this as one. I use Serif Page plus 8 and I've read the help files but as usual it's all double dutch to me I just don't understand techy talk at all. Can anyone help PLEASE hugs maggie

I have Photo Impact XL and under Object there is a dropdown menu and you can select Merge or Merge All. The same with Corel Paint Shop Pro X, under layers there is a merge option there too. Use you select tool (pointer and draw a box around the whole thiong. You should get all the elements selected and a little locking icon at the bottom. If you click on that it will lock the object together and you should be able to copy and paste the whole image. Hope this helps. Sue xx

I.ll get my son to try later when i get a wee respite from the hospital.This will give me something to do What a fab project and you,re getting fabulous results and they are so cute Well done Hugs Anne xxxxxxxxx

Posts: 1618 (16/11/2007 12:54:31) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	We have always had computers here at home ever since the Sinclair ZX81, oh the memories of the 10k (yes 10 whole kilobytes) memory pack falling off the darned thing just when you had finished entering all the gobblygook basic program! Just needed a wagon to go past the house and that was the end of that!! having said that, I am NO expert by any means and do an awful lot of trial and error. If in doubt I have OH who works from home so is usually handy. Trouble is I spend TOO much time playing with progs and images etc AND this addictive forum that I rarely have the time to make the cards!! ha ha! And the H word, well what's that then???? Sue xx

I also use the images like you, and overlay everything. When I've composed a picture, I just hold the ctrl down, and move it all across as one picture, and it duplicates.
