Another vote here for Miele. We bought a Miele washing machine, dishwasher, tumble drier and vacuum cleaner when we moved here some five years ago and have
never had a hint of trouble from any of the appliances. If I couldn't buy Miele next time around I would opt for John Lewis' own brand machines.

Well I only have a little Creda - one of the cheapest models. My first one lasted over 20 years, with absolutely no problems and now have same make as was so
pleased with it. Mine is kept in the garage - and the vent goes out of the garage window, when in use.

Condenser is great mine is a Whirlpool. Not going to say how great it is in case I tempt fate.!!!

I've always had condensers and find they're brilliant. My first one was a White Knight which lasted for years, but when that gave up the ghost I looked
at the Which website (free trial for 30 days) and bought a Bosch. Although I loved my old one, this is much better, although it was about £400 a couple of
years ago. I know its expensive, but I've noticed the difference and as others have said, you get what you pay for.

 ) I think OH and I are going out looking tomorrow, but I will check some of your
favourite brands out on the internet tonight for prices etc.
I told OH that all my friends on this lovely forum would be willing to help (even if it was not about craft) he he.

Bit late replying here, & must log off in a mo as still no time...
BUT.....must mention one very important thing to me! ( I don't know if these are still made as I have recently had a combo, which I hate, but now we've a kitchen as small as most cupboards, lol) If poss I would ALWAYS choose one like I had before with a timer if you want, but my MOST essential, the choice to not time, so I can open the door when I want + get individual items out + fold them really well immediatel;y. Then get the next item out + fold & so on. May seem a timeconsumiong faff, buy like most people, I HATE ironing, + I always used to fold really carefully (sleeves with straight crease at top etc), + let the heat in the item "iron it"! There are so many things we iron, that duvet covers, towels, + even some clothing work great! As I'm typing this tho I suspect you can no longer buy like this as it would seem that the delay + a timer would be safety factors nowadays???????????. Jackie x |
