It has been missing for ages, Ivy had cherished it for over a year before it vanished.
Could this be an evolution of the missing craft goody syndrome?
Please tell me I'm not going mad again!!!

At least you didn't find all your ribbons in the dogs bed all chewed and mangled.

Your dog must have exchanged it for something else it fancied in your ribbon box, lol
It's probably having a change from it's bone. Probably thinks it's a bit of a crafter, lol Andrea xx |

Judy C ps, the worst thing is the basket is kept up high on a shelf. Now, either Ivy is extremely clever or maybe the Bone Fairy has struck again! Or was it me?

Eeeek!!!!!!
I'm another ribbon lover (hoarder, lol), so my boxes are
high up & taboo to all except me :-)
Call me a cheapskate, but OH bought me a "fairy dress/skirt' in Poundland....as he knew I'd like it, lol. All it is is a waist-size ring of covered elastic, with separate yards of 1" varied 'space-dyed' organza, with a v. narrow silver edge just loosely tied onto the rubber band! Just undo the single knots & I have loads more to save, heehee Jackie x |

My guess is the dog was trying to be involved in your crafting!

the missing craft goody syndromeLost two pieces of patterned paper today, look high and low for them as I knew I had picked them up only minutes earlier, but they totally disappeared. Found them later, out in the rain ( totally ruined) caught under the hedge, the wind must have blown them out of the window . Its the only thing I can think that could of happened. |

Judy - would you have another rummage in the ribbon basket and see if my bone-folder is there and little silver stars?
TT - uh oh - I'd have cried. But you rescued them and made a unique scrunched up kinda background, didn't you

Susan, I have had a lovely time sorting out my ribbons today, thanks to the arrival of a stash from Joanna,
and guilt feelings about Ivy's bone.
I have completely reorganised them [for five minutes] - all the reels are now on dowels in a shoe box with holes in the sides so I can pull out just what I want. Odds and ends are safely packed in poly bags. I reached the bottom of the basket around lunchtime but sadly, no bone folder or silver stars!
