If you cant get on with bags, why not try the small see through take-away containers, you can get a large pack from poundland, i have loads but use mine to
store all my die-cuts, but now may use for colour coded scraps too...

You could put them into bags & then hang them on an old mug tree then you would see them and hopefully use them.
